Here are some of the members of Golden Star Morris 'relaxing' after a hard day's dancing. We are a mixed side (men & women) dancing 'Cotswold' style Morris although some of our members do get up to other things. The side was formed around 1979/80 at the Golden Star pub in Norwich, which is where we got the name. We have some lively and energetic young members and some of our original members are still going strong.
We practice every Sunday evening during the autumn and winter from 7:30 - 9:30pm at:- St. Catherines Church Hall, Aylsham Rd, Mile Cross, Norwich, NR3 2RJ and refresh ourselves afterwards at a local pub. |

Then, full of the joys of Spring and Summer, we regularly dance out in and around Norwich at local pubs and events. We have also been known to inflict ourselves on the good people of Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and even all over the country at folk festivals and dance events. In fact we will dance with energy and enthusiasm, anywhere and everywhere, come rain or shine, given the opportunity. We are always happy to welcome new dancers and musicians with or without previous experience. If you would like to join us or book us for your event see our Contact Us page.
